I liked this book for a couple of reasons. One thing I liked about this book was that the author had a child and a bear interacting. This engages students because it allows them to use their imagination. The author gave the bear human-like qualities in order for the little boy to work with him. Another thing I liked about this book was that the bear and the little boy worked together in order to solve a problem. I believe that the bear represented a teddy bear that little kids usually sleep with. This was cute and the little boy wanted to help his bear feel better. The little boy tried many different ways to remove the tooth. The message of the story was to help a friend in need. ( )
