It is books like this that give America its bad name in the world.

Absolutely potty, Jeremiah forces you to read on out of a peverse curiousity that the book cannot be as illogical as it actually appears.

It is.

The prophetic clues are as clear as mud (even after Jeremiah's extremely generous explanations) and the chapter on Islam embarrassing - and I speak as someone not exactly known for ignoring the dangers of Islamism.

If Jeremiah makes a living out of this, it is proof of the old adage - there really is one born every minute.... ( )

What more can I say about this book other than total eye-opener. Not being much into present-day politics, this book takes you through the important events that tie into end-time prophecy that are happening before our very eyes. The best part is that it is very politically ignorant-friendly for people like me. Before the author discusses a current happening, he briefly walks the reader through a quick history of preceeding events related to the one in discussion so that you totally understand his discussion. He does so in such a way that is so understandable. I would have finished this book much sooner had I not been in the middle of my busy time of the year with work, but highly recommended for anyone and everyone. The value of the book is that it helps the reader understand what is going on in the world today based on Biblical prophecy. The author in no way tries to determine when future events will happen, he only shows how certain key events are unfolding at this current time. ( )

What In The World Is Going On?...
Dr. David Jeremiah attempts to answer some very difficult questions concerning the end times. He backs up his answers with scripture, research, and the support of other scholars. Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Matthew, and Revelation present warnings to what the future holds. Jeremiah presents a well-organized, easy-to-understand discourse in Biblical prophecy.
I am not sure I totally agree with his timeline concerning the rapture. I am certainly not an expert and frankly hope he is correct. The chapter on the Rapture was very interesting. I was also surprised but fascinated on the chapter concerning oil. I pray He comes soon. I hope Dr. Jeremiah develops a small group study based on this book. ( )

David Jeremiah's book, "What In the World Is Going On?" is a true revelation of the coming end days and return of Jesus. The book is very informative and relative to the current world events. The Biblical references fall true to past events and are very accurate foreshadows to occurring events. This is a great book of prophecy and would be perfect as a small group study or discipleship class. I have read numerous articles written by David Jeremiah, but this is the first book I have read written by him.

The book is a little over 257 pages long and includes many references. I found the chapters "The Crude Awakening", "Vanished Without a Trace", and "When One Man Rules the World", and "Arming for Armageddon" especially interesting. It is an easy read, but may take a bit longer if you spend time following his references. I would suggest taking plenty of time to read the book and envisioning the big picture. This is the first "prophecy" book that I have read and it was truly an eye-opener

If you enjoyed reading any of the books in the Left Behind series or books written by Joel C. Rosenberg, you will certainly love reading "What In the World Is Going On?"
