They notice it is raining, but make the decision to still go play outside and they enjoy the rain, until the sun come back out! I think this book would be great for a primary classroom to read! It is full of excitement, happiness, and cute characters. It also helps the kids know that the characters are expressing big emotions when the writing increasingly grows as they get excited. The book is a very easy read but also a very fun read for a younger age. This book would be a good read for kindergarten or younger. Primary Elephant and Piggie want to go play outside, but it is raining. Soon they find they enjoy playing in the rain, but then it gets sunny again! I like how simple the illustrations are and how the font gets bigger when they express big emotions.
