This book is a compendium of many arts and crafts with basic information about each one, complete with a project description so that the reader may make one of the items. There are line drawings, color photographs and descriptions of each art form along with complete instructions for making one project. In spite of the short nature, the chapters on crafts that I have done for over 20 years are well written with clear enough instructions for a beginner to be able to complete a project. ( )A good, readable book for those starting a handicraft hobby. Doesn't assume prior knowledge, but goes into some detail about subjects. Obviously the sections were created by people knowledgeable in their fields. Most subjects are covered in 8-10 pages with a project. Many pictures and explanations. A good place to start if you are considering a craft. no reviews | add a review
