A realistic telling of the writing of the Little House books, based in large part on recordings that were made while Mrs. Wilder was speaking, from the copious letters that she kept, as well as articles that she'd written for magazines in the state of Missouri. We find out that the chronology and ages of the girls as depicted in the Little House books was adjusted somewhat. ( )

Biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder and quite interesting! Would surely be of interest to anyone who enjoys the Little House series. Written in novel format.
