I really like the art in Sengoku Nights. It's very pretty and the linework is so delicate. The characters are also pretty distinctive. Specifically, Nozuchi no Makoto doesn't look like anyone I can remember seeing in another manga. His insistence on his love for Oni-hime - whatever gender she may be - is cute.
The plot's interesting, and the story's well-told. It draws heavily on Japanese folklore, but the gruesome, cursed ghosts that pursue the main character seem straight out of the Japanese horror films that have become so popular the last few years. ( )
