This book is the second companion book for "The Quiltmaker's Gift," about a mythical quiltmaker who makes beautiful quilts and then gives them away to the poor and homeless. The first companion was issued because so many people were asking for the patterns to the quilts in the story book. This second book adds 19 new patterns, and has a similar format to the first book. The quilt projects range from beginner to advanced, and the instructions are easy to follow. Like its predecessor this book is visually exciting, with each project starting with an illustration from the story, and a little bit of the story text. I also liked the little bit of history they give about each block. ( )no reviews | add a review
