Gregory Scofield is the poet I read when I’m in bed at night, my legs smooth under the covers. This is one of my favourite collections of his work. ( )

Heartstoppingly beautiful. Close to perfect. I read poems from this book to people and they go out and buy it. Greg Scofield reads poems from this book to people and they faint. It brims with inside things, shows its scars and offers healing. Medicine, truly. ( )
