The allCLEAR User's Guide shows the reader how to use the allCLEAR Version 1.1 command system to generate diagrams from script files.

If the reader is looking for information on which keys to press and which menu items to select when using the allCLEAR program, this is the book to read. If the reader is looking for a detailed description of the allCLEAR script language, the allCLEAR Language Manual by Adam Green is the reference to consult.

allCLEAR supports three types of diagrams: (1) Procedure (flow chart), (2) Tree (hierarchy chart), and (3) Decision Tree (branching hierarchy chart).

Information for diagramming has to be described in the allCLEAR script language following strict structuring rules and punctuation. Any text editor or word processor will do for writing and saving an allCLEAR script. New information can easily be added to a diagram by editing an old script.

allCLEAR reads the script file, analyzes it, and produces a diagram of the information described in it. The resulting diagram can be browsed on the computer screen, saved to a file, or sent to a printer.

allCLEAR uses a style sheet to format the diagram. By modifying the current style sheet, the user can customize diagram attibutes, such as, style, fonts, box shapes, page orientation, margins, and pagination. Changes in the style sheet will be instantly reflected in the accompanying diagram.

The version of allCLEAR covered by this manual was written for PCs running DOS. allCLEAR is still available and is being marketed for Windows XP and Vista systems. The newer software still operates on the text-to-chart principle which makes it the easiest and fastest flowchart software on the market.

You don't have to be an artist to draw flowcharts with allCLEAR because it is not a drawing program. It is a flowchart creator. ( )
