Work detailsGeorge Washington: A Holiday House Reader by David A. Adler
None. None. The book about President George Washington is not bad, but, to my mind, a little bit too superficial. In comparison to other book, there is not a lot of information given about, for examples, the values, of the former President. In my opinion, this is a lacking aspect of the book. Very elementary book for new readers. Written in a way that expands on information to answer questions young children will have when presented with facts. The author did not gloss over the violence of war and the illustrations made the same point without graphic detail. Summary highlighted important dates and events. President George Washington by David A. Adler is a biography on George Washington. This book tells important dates to remember of the life of George Washington. This biography has the perfect amount of information for a young student who could be doing a report on a important person in history. The book gives sources, notes, and important dates that can help a student with their report. Very informational and has pictures as well. no reviews | add a review

Very few text and colorful pictures make this book especially interesting for tiny children! (
