I loved the way the illustrations added to the story, and told what happened to the presents that Millie was supposed to bring home. ( )

Millie is back! In her last adventure, Millie Waits for the Mail, she discovered a new vocation as a "mail cow". Now she and the postman have delivered all the Christmas mail and she's on her way home with packages for her own family.....when she gets lost!

Millie's grim determination finally gets her back home - a little worse for wear! But what has happened to the presents? Oh well, everyone gets something they want....even if it's not quite what the giver intended!

The humor of the story is perfectly blended with the pictures. Millie is a heroine once again - and the chickens are as funny as ever! Be prepared to spend lots of extra time on the last spread, picking out all the presents!

Verdict: A must have for your picture book collection; perfect for winter, Christmas, snow, and other storytimes. Highly recommended.

Very silly story about Millie the mailcow. She gets lost?! on her way home and sort of destroys all the presents the mailman made for the farm. When she finally arrives all the presents have lost their tags and presents are appropriated by the wrong recipients. Very funny, I especially like the udder warmer. ( )

Millie the Mail Cow is delivering packages on Christmas Eve when she gets lost in a blizzard. She wanders around getting into all types of trouble until she somehow makes it home to celebrate with her family.

This was a cute title; Mille's is adorably befuddled, the mail carrier has a sweet crush on the farmer, Millie's owner, and the attendant farm animals are cute and funny in the background scenes, especially when they get their Christmas presents mixed up.

The artwork is cartoony and varied; the illustrator conveys action well. The background threads of the other farm animals are fun to follow through the book along with Millie. ( )

Millie’s new job as a mail cow keeps her very busy. Christmastime is especially hectic, and she can barely wait for the milking to be done before she’s out delivering presents.

On Christmas Eve, at the end of a long day, the mail carrier sends Millie home with all the presents he’s made for the farmer and the other animals. Only, Millie gets a bit confused by the snow-covered landscape. Suddenly everything looks the same, and the farm is nowhere in sight! Can Millie make it home to deliver the presents in time for Christmas? And more important, will the presents make it there in one piece?
