My 17 year old daughter bought this in case she went to Minsk, and reckons it is the worst book she has ever read: a bit of self-publishing with no idea of history. Just based on interviews with people putting forward the official view of the regime. So just the usual hagiography of a Soviet leader, by some sort of fellow traveller.
