I enjoyed this book because it tells of how hard the voyage was for those coming to North America. I really liked the pictures in this book. They are actual photographs that looked just liked it would have back then on the Mayflower.
You could read this book around thanksgiving to your class and then talk about the Pilgrams and why they came over to North America. You can talk about how Thanksgiving was started.
