This is another book in the pinkalicious series. Goldie is an imaginary friend that goes on adventures with pinkalicious. This is a fun journey with the story of a golden unicorn. As usual per the series, it has predictable ups and downs. This is a fun story to read to a child or as a class. This would be fun to develop story telling.

Ages- K-3rd
Genere- This is a fantasy because there are not really unicorns or magic. ( )

Summary
This book is about a little girl Pinkalicious and her little brother Peter who have an extraordinary imagination. They have an imaginary pet unicorn named Goldie. Goldie who is a gold-horned unicorn can float on water and roller skate. Together Pinkalicious and Goldilicious can conquer anything including the evil wizardy of Peter.

Personal Reflection
This book shows what a good imagination is. This little girl is able to dream up an adventure and make it happen all in her mind before it is time to eat dinner. She is also included her little brother in her adventures even though he is more times than not a villain in her adventures.

Classroom Extension Ideas
1. I would have the students write an imaginary story and have them include any friends and animals. i would the encourage the student to be super creative and crazy.
2. The students would recreate Goldilicious using their imaginations as the see her in the story.

"Pinkalicious" is an excellent serious that teaches students about colors and being yourself.
