An easy read for kinder, it can introduce setting and sequencing. A story starting in one place, and then another, and another. Following order, from beginning to end.

Cute and funny and easy to follow for the little ones. I liked the big overview picture of the grounds in the beginning. Kids may want to go back to that picture after reading the story and follow the silly little goose's trail ... ( )

Used for baby storytime 8-7-09 as board book read-together. Excellent animal sounds throughout. ( )

The goose couldn't find a place to lay her eggs. Everywhere she went was already occupied by another family. She kept searching until she found the perfect spot, the farmer's hat. This is a cute book for children. It was short with big pictures. It has big pictures and letters to focus on. When I looked at the pictues I realized the farmer is on his tractor on the first page and his fat flies off. On every picture the hat is somewhere being carried in the wind. I wonder if little kids would notice it at the beginning, unlike myself. ( )

This book is about a goose who is trying to find a place to rest so that she can lay her eggs. Once she finds a big straw hat in the middle of the field, she simply just sets inside the hat and starts to lay her eggs. ( )
