It taks about an hour and a half to read this book, and I suppose it is worth that amount of time. I was intrigued by the concept of the book -- a quick course in thinking like a doctor, plus some interesting inside info on the practice of medicine. In my head at least, that meant a humorous variation of Groopman's How Doctor's Think, which I enjoyed.

Let's Play Doctor is not that book. For better or worse, this book is basically a continuation of Leyner and Golberg's previous two books -- bizarre medical questions and answers, with little practical information and not a whole lot of organization.

This book might make an amusing gag gift for the aspiring physician, but don't expect to learn a lot in Let's Play Doctor. ( )
