Decadent, in the ickiest sense. Sexually abused children turn into supernatural feral creatures that hunt as a pack and eat people. Almost the entire book is devoted to the children's backstories and they are nausea inducing. So horrific that, I supposed, each child's history provides an excuse for their transformation into beasts with an anti-social taste in dinner. Part of the Big Apple blight porn popular of the 70s.
