This novel is David's life from the day he was born to his second marriage. In his childhood,he wasn't interested in studying, and his father strongly scolded him.His father sent him to school, and David was considered poor graded student by the teacher and he was made of fun many students.Nevertheless,he lived and he met many people.
It is good story, but human relationships is complex and the vocaburary level is little high. You may need to read the novel many times. ( )
