One of the best resources I've seen. Lots of different ideas, including some for rental apartments. I got more ideas from here than from any other I've read so far. One that anybody can implement in one day is to paint (or wall-paper, or decoupage, or wrap in fabric) the back panel of your bookcase(s). That way I'll have a little bit of joy encouraging me to keep clearing shelves, and my shelves will still be pretty when they're only 1/2 empty.

Btw, I don't know what pages the reviewer who said 'the ideas are specific to the example rooms' was focusing on. The strength of this book compared to many others is that it *does not* have that kind of specificity.

(Unlike [b:Small House, Big Style|432949|Small House, Big Style|Paula Marshall|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1174709068s/432949.jpg|1634849] which I'm struggling through now. That is a book for renovators who consider a two-bedroom 1900 sq. ft house to be small. :snort:)

This is a book I can actually recommend to folks who prefer to buy rather than use inter-library-loan. Rounded up from 3.5 stars to help the communitey average rating. ;) ( )
