Book Recommendation: Wormhole Pirates on Orbis 3
by Brian Wu - Wednesday, 8 August 2012, 12:32 PM

"Wormhole Pirates on Orbis 3" is the third book in PJ Haarsma's action-packed The Softwire series. The Softwire series is a sci-fi focusing on the adventures of Johnny Turnbull and his friends, after an incident on their journey to The Rings of Orbis, a group of planets surrounding a wormhole. The children are left orphaned and have to journey from planet to planet, working as knudniks (slaves) for the aliens that live there.
In this book, the children reach Orbis 3 where they discover that they no longer have to work as slaves and can go to school. However, they have to overcome challenges such as bullies and more importantly, the wormhole pirates they keep spotting. What are the wormhole pirates planning? And how can they stop them?
