This is not quite the edition I own/have read. I found this amazing book years ago in a tiny shop in Siem Reap in Cambodia. The edition I have is A Brief and Truthful Relation of Events in the Kingdom of Cambodia. It was written by Quiroga, a Dominican missionary, in 1604 as a letter to the King of Spain and in Spanish. This edition is an English translation of the French edition of 1914, translated and edited by Antoine Cabaton. The book is hilarious and a wonderful document of the geo-politics of Indochina at that time. ( )
