To be honest, I didn't know much about Montel Williams before reading this book. I had no idea of the health and mental struggles he faced and the charisma which came across the page was a surprise. I'm very impressed with him personally.
The book itself covered the usual things you hear in self-improvement books - better quality food, more physical activity, etc. But Williams also focuses heavily on your mental game: the power of positive psychology; the ability of projecting even just one happy thought to help elevate you; the effect of daily gratitude and the importance of feeling connected to the spiritual (whatever you take that to mean).
It wasn't a life-changing book for me but I do believe it can help others out there. It's always nice to read a positive book to start the year off right. ( )
