I'm shocked that there are no other reviews on this book yet!

This book is the most frequently cited book for "beginning / intermediate investing" on most of the investment forums I visit. I highly agree that it is a comprehensive beginners guide to investing.

Over the course of the book, it details why investing yourself is a good idea, why index funds out-perform individual investing / managed mutual funds, and which index funds you should invest in to properly protect your money.

Along with this advice, it gives charts / data on how it came up with this information.

This book is the perfect book for a loved one who needs investing advice. What's interesting is that over the course of someone's life, this could literally save them hundreds of thousands (save / make). ( )
