But the sad part was that I've read the book before this sooo long ago, I can't remember much of what happened, and didn't get the beginning as much as I'd liked...but that's the beauty of Erin Hunter! She always explains most of what happened before so you know what's going on! Also...I read the next book before this one too, so all those 'deadly' secrets that are supposed to be revelled in the next book, I already knew, so it wasn't that suspensing! But it's ok! I love the part when Jaypaw went back in time, and walked with the cats who lived at the lake before the clans moved in! That was interessting! And when they faked the sign from starclan, I just LOVED that part! I can't wait to read the next series!!! ( )Our three protagonists are nearing the end of the quest to find out what it means to be the Three, but then they find out that may not be true after all and a cat of the clan dies - and it is not by nature that it happened. Could it be one of the ThunderClan who did it? brill book, with suspence, romance, betrayal, jealousy, curiousity, pure adventure, epic battle..... the whole heavenly echiladia!!!! a real nail bitter leading up to the 6th and final book. a great congratulations to the three editions of erin! :D A really exciting book. I really enjoyed reading it, and had a hard time stopping until the book was finished. It's packed full of action and excitement, and really puts you into the book. The surprise mentioned on the back of the book made it even more enjoyable, although I was shocked when I found out what it was. To sum it up, this book is really great, and I loved reading it. Chelsea L. Wow, I think that was the best book in The Power of Three part of the series! no reviews | add a review

The Clans are in turmoil. ShadowClan has turned its back on StarClan and pledged to follow the dark predictions of Sol, the strange cat who foretold the solar eclipse. But not all the cats have lost faith in their warrior ancestors. . . .
Jaypaw is convinced that StarClan still holds an important place in the warrior code, and his search for answers leads him far back into the past, farther back than even StarClan can remember. Lionblaze, tortured by violent dreams and bloody visions, wishes he had never been prophesied to be one of the three but to turn his back on his littermates would be the ultimate betrayal. And Hollyleaf is terrified that once the Clans lose their faith, the warrior code will fall apart. She's willing to fight tooth and nail to preserve it—whatever the cost.
And when murder stalks into the heart of ThunderClan, the cats realize that the darkest shadows don't always lie outside the territory.
