1415 The Great Anglo-Boer War, by Byron Farwell (read 6 Nov 1976) I found this a great book. The war began Oct 11, 1988, and ended May 31, 1902. The time between was laden with high events and drama, and the account made me want to visit South Africa, though I imagine there is little to see so far as the war is concerned. ( )
