The Search for Past Lives (formerly titled "Adventures in Reincarnation) is a summary of over 33 years of Bryan Jameison's research into the mysterious phenomenen of human reincarnation and it effects upon one's present life. In it Bryan shares his unique insights into the illusive and often puzzling workings of the human soul. His conclusions, which are based on his findings, concern some of the most controversial issues of our time include: when the soul enters a baby's body, past-life causes of homosexuality, birth defects, phobias, compulsions, relationship problems and low self-esteem just to name a few. Although this is not a "how-to book", he also explains how, through non-hypnotic regression, people are able able to rid themselves of the negative emotional feelings that accompany these conditions which often changes their present life for the better.

The primary focus of this book is "Personal Empowerment."
