i am reading Vampire kisses 2 by Ellen Schreiber. I chose to read this book because i read the first book and it was really good. This book has adventure in it. It was a really good book. This book was really exciting and the characters are fantastic.
the main idea of the story was all about finding alexander. she look all around in old house to find him. In the mean time she was being followed. She finally found Alexander. Then she discovered who she was being followed by.
This book was really good. Her search for alexander shows that she really loves him. Then to be followed shws real excitement. I would recommend this book to all ( )

I am review the wonderful book, Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins. It was well written by: Ellen Schreiber. I chose to read this book because it is the sequal to Vampire Kisses, (a book I enjoyed greatly) also written by: Ellen Schreiber. I really liked this book as well as the first one. It was imaginitive, funny in parts, and something I could see myself getting into.

In the end of the first book, her vampire boyfriend Alexander leaves. In this book, she goes to find him. To start looking, she begins by visiting her Aunt Liby in, "Hipsterville" as she calls it. Which, I could see myself asking my parents to go somewhere, and really go somewhere else. Which, she does go to Hipsterville, but the real reason was to find Alexander. She goes into a night club called, "The Coffin Club", and meets Jagger Maxwell. That's when things get bad. And me being me, I can really relate to things going bad!

I didn't really expect there to be an awesome night club, or her to sneak off to her Aunts to go looking for Alexander. I figured she'd stay home, and he would out of nowhere come back to her. I know, lame, but still, that is what I thought would happen. Instead, she looks for him, avoids obstacles on the way, and finally finds him! But anyways, I loved it, and was very pleased with Mrs. Schreiber's work. ( )

First of all, I just want to say that this is the second book in the series, picking up right where the first one left off, so it is highly suggested that KISSING COFFINS be read after VAMPIRE KISSES. Consider that your warning. Now that that's out of the way, on to the book!

Goth-girl Raven has just discovered that her boyfriend, Alexander Sterling, new to the town of "Dullsville," is an actual vampire. Unfortunately, the morning after this startling discovery, he disappears. Raven is devastated, but doesn't dare ask anyone for help for fear they will discover his secret.

She decides to take the matter into her own hands and sets off to look for clues to his whereabouts, determined to find him and convince him that she is perfectly fine with the fact that he is one of the undead. Her search leads her to the Mansion, where she finds a mysterious note in Alexander's bedroom that only says, "Alexander, HE IS ON HIS WAY!" She then takes a trip to nearby "Hipsterville," home of hippies, Goths, starving artists, her aunt Libby, and, hopefully, Alexander.

Following a trail of clues, she visits the Coffin Club (a popular hangout for Goths), the Hipsterville Historical Society (who knew that would be helpful?), and a deserted mansion on the outskirts of town (that's hopefully not really deserted at all).

She also meets the mysterious and slightly creepy Jagger, who offers to help her with her search. But is he just a Goth-obsessed teen like Raven, or is he the real thing? And why does he seem so interested in Alexander?

KISSING COFFINS is a fun, quick read for those looking for a vampire story without the blood and gore. However, the writing is often quite shallow, and the relationship between Raven and Alexander is never really fully developed enough for my taste. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the book; I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the series. ( )

Just as good as the first one. If you don't mind weird stereotypes, this book is good. I thought her rendition of vampires is odd. It's very hollywood movie, classic- blood sucking, garlicfearing, only goes out at night, lives in Romania, wears black, has a creepy butler...need i go on?
But still, cute and a quick read if you need a break from serious literaature. ( )
