There is nothing particularly special about this poetry book. If anything, the book is confusing and kind of hard to follow. The book has one stanza about the story on one page, and the next page is a repeated stanza, kind of like the chorus of a song. The rhyme scheme is weird and hard to follow and, as a result, I couldn't really find the beat of book, which was frustrating. ( )

A good, creepy poem for Halloween. The illustrations are much more elegant than you see in most spooky children's books, and the backgrounds are beautiful. ( )
