Eh, I am glad this was short because I felt like I was wasting my time. There was some humor to it but any lessons learned, I pretty much already knew. Most of it just seemed silly or mean. ( )

I admit it - I'm addicted to dating advice books. Much like my addictions to other pop culture travesties, I find them to be a terribly interesting mix of gender role stereotypes and odd sexual assumptions. This isn't the worst book out there, probably because it's as much humor as dating advice. But it's not terribly interesting either. ( )

This covers a great deal of the material you need to know. However, some things are lacking, such as what do you do when you get a horrible case of the runs on a date? Or when your bladder shrinks to the size of a walnut, causing you to need to take a leak 3 times before the opening credits are finished and you really don't want to look like there is something wrong with you? Or when your date suddenly reminds you of Fonzi of Happy Days and you are already in bed with them? The book is also missing the 'A shaped hug' and the 'shoulder tuck, slam, and dash' methods of avoiding a goodnight kiss. Still, this book is a good introduction to the perils of dating. ( )
