Usagi Yojimbo is a superb graphic novel series featuring a wandering, master-less samurai (or ronin) in feudal Japan. The fact that the samurai is a rabbit in a feudal Japan populated by anamorphic cats, dogs, pigs, bats, rhinos, fox and so on adds to rather than subtracts from its charm.
While the Usagi books are all good (yes, I own them all), Seasons is my favorite. Stan Sakai's skills as a story teller and artist are on full display in these four stories. It is an example of just how good a story telling medium the graphic novel can be. Seasons is a great place to start if you are thinking about checking out the world of Usagi Yojimbo. I doubt you will be disappointed. ( )
Explores the natural changes that take place during each of the four seasons. Includes four electronic books, color photographs and paintings, music, and sound effects.

Usagi's talents and character are severely tested in a cycle of adventures as diverse and unique as the seasons.
