... question! I would either live happily in
Alagaesia in Christopher Paolini's novles. Oh! Or
maybe travel through Narnia . Then there is the
dark, kinda twisted world of Cirque Du Freak by
Darren Shan. Too many good books!:S
... The Hobbit to Unfinished Tales &c. Otherwise, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion at least would get separate slots.
CS Lewis, Narnia , and my favourite is The Horse and His Boy as well. Pevensies out!
JK Rowling, Harry Potter, and my favourite is also Order of the Phoenix! Wisewoman, clearly we'r ...
... I haven't read any of the books since I was a kid (I'm 42 now), and I don't think I finished any of them beyond Prince Caspian , so it's like encountering them for the very first time. I'm enjoying them immensely, and Michael York's reading is excellent.
I'm in UK.
Prince Caspian (and all the Narnia series, but that was the first I read)
Little Women
Stig of the dump
Malory Towers (again a whole series)
Myths and Legends (Greek and Norse especially)
I still read a lot of Girlsown fiction. Nowadays my favourites are the Chalet School ...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I haven't read The Thirteenth Pearl but I have read Prince Caspian
40) Prince Caspian by CS Lewis- Wow, that felt like a really short book. Honestly, I think the movie might've been a bit better than the book. But overall I mean, the story was good and I didn't know that all the Telmarines went back to their own world in the end, but the middle of the story felt ...
I finished Prince Caspian two nights ago and am currently in the middle of Ink Exchange. Looks pretty dark so far, but good.
Starting Prince Caspian probably tonight.
... i'm reading The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. I'm enjoying a lot this book... I'm currently reading the book 4 Prince Caspian .
It's the third. We've been reading them in movie order (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian , Dawn Treader), but are now far ahead since the movie adaptation isn't coming out until next Xmas! I'd probably go for The Silver Chair next, but I do have to admit my memory of the ...
... small picky things sometimes, but it's the big things that get me. An excellent (terrible?) example of this is the recent Prince Caspian movie, where they add a pointless castle siege, apparently just to spice things up.
In general, the more I love the book, the less I will like the movie. ...
91. Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis
Book 4 in the Chronicles of Narnia Series, the second to be made into a film. I enjoyed this story much more than the previous, but I was also familiar with it having already watching the film. I liked the introduction of the new character, Prince Caspian, and ...

Beethoven's Hair, Midnight Is A Place, Prince Caspian , and Frank Wilczek's Lightness of Being.
Hope all is well with your family.
