Any fan of Fushigi Yugi will enjoy this book. A lot of it is new art from Fushigi Yugi, but there is also a bonus manga where Yuu Watase enters the Universe of the Four Gods. As someone who knows very little about Chinese or Japanese Culture the explanations were nice to put things that happen in the series in the proper perspective. I also enjoyed the question and answer section with the author of the series. ( )

Well, this is the Japanese language version, so I almost didn't swap for it (since I can't read Japanese), but this is really about the artwork, which is, of course, excellent. This includes a lot of full-color drawings of the characters of Fushigi Yuugi, especially Miaka and Tamahome. It's got pictures of just about everyone in the series and pictures of characters in modern clothing as well. ( )
