I must warn you though not for little children. I was a bit disappointed though because it was only half Joker. ( )I think Ed Brubaker is one of the best writers in comics. However, this story is a rather underwhelming, slightly juvenile sequel to Alan Moore's wonderful, meritorious "The Killing Joke." I think Ed Brubaker is one of the best writers in comics. However, this story is a rather underwhelming, slightly juvenile sequel to Alan Moore's wonderful, meritorious "The Killing Joke." Great Comic. A retelling of Batman's first encounter with the Joker, from very early in his career. This is actually a remake of the first Joker story from 1940 or so, brought up-to-date. The artwork and writing are good, but there are a couple of times where the Batman, one of the finest fighters in the world, unaccountably is nearly bested by the Joker, one time allowing him to fight his way to freedom after the Batman had already downed him and proceeded to truss him up. no reviews | add a review
