I'd also bring along elbakerone, because she would have some Shakespear ... I just got a 1910 hardcover edition of Cyrano de Bergerac, in French, for $15 in Berkeley. It's gorgeous, with a ridged leather spine and beautiful swirly blue endpapers.
The inscription reads: "Scholarship price (sic) to our best French pupil in 1920 --J. Jobard"

FAVOURITE BOOKS: Beauty: a retelling of the story of Beauty and the Beast. Cyrano de Bergerac. The complete works of William Shakespeare. The Blue Castle. The Poky Little Puppy. The Harry Potter series, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and ... Cyrano de Bergerac. I used to tell people "I am Cyrnao" -- which got me a lot of strange looks, let me tell you! But he's my favorite character in literature.

Cyrano de Bergerac from the play of that name by Edmond Rostand. More than ten years now, my most long-standing literary crush.
Eugenides (Gen) from The Thief/Queen of Attolia/King of Attolia by ... My favorite author is Shakespeare.
My favorite poet is John Donne.
My favorite play is Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand.
That said, and before I sound too highbrow, I write children's and YA, and I would usually say that my favorite book is Beauty : a retelling of the story ... ... Pulse recently -- The Night Dance and Beauty Sleep and so on.
I also read Geraldine McCaughrean's Cyrano -- Cyrano de Bergerac is my all-time favorite play/work of literature/character, so I have mixed feelings about re-interpreting it. On one hand, she did a very good job of ... ... if I can put these down. In no particular order:
