The Gallagher Girls books just keep getting better and better. This episode takes place the fall of Cammie's junior year. Macey's dad is running for Vice President and Macey has to be along on the campaign trail. When Cammie joins her in Boston for an event, there is an attempted kidnapping which Cammie and Macey manage to foil. Cammie is determined to protect her friend and, with the assistance of Liz and Bex, help the Secret Service including Cam's Aunt Abby keep her safe. Only they need to keep their activities secret from the Secret Service in order not to blow the Gallagher Academy's cover.

The mysterious Zach, who might or might not be Cammie's boyfriend, makes his mysterious appearance in this one too telling Cammie to be careful and appearing in disguise at a number of Macey's events. Cammie is torn between trusting him and wondering if he is working for the other side.

This story was about home, family, and secrets. As Cammie says, "there are two types of secrets: the kind you want to keep in, and the kind you don't dare to let out." Cammie has to deal with both sorts in this exciting episode.

I recommend this series highly for its wonderful characters and exciting plots. ( )

Loving this series about girl spies and their school. Well written with enough action for boys and girls but this series definitely would appeal to girls. ( )

The Gallagher Girls are back and better than ever. So far, this is my favorite of the three because there's tons of action and the plot keeps you guessing. Twists and turns all over the place! ( )

This book was REALLY cute! I think I may have liked book 2 ([b:Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy|568645|Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy (Gallagher Girls, #2)|Ally Carter|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1255578260s/568645.jpg|2796618]) a TEENY TINY bit better. But HOLY INTRIGUE, BATMAN! The ending??? I was like... "WHAT??? WHO IS THIS PERSON??? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE??? WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON??? WHY DID THAT THING THAT JUST HAPPENED JUST HAPPEN??? WHEN IS THE NEXT BOOK COMING OUT???" Except it won't for a long time. This book just came out in July or something....

But WOW, I can't WAIT to see what happens next!!!!!! There are SO MANY QUESTIONS that need to be answered!!! I wish this was a TV show, and there was a new episode next week!!!! (This series would be an AWESOME TV show, btw!)

Anyway, I really need to go to bed now... Yep yep... I will have many happy dreams of Zach... haha... ( )

When Cammie "The Chameleon" Morgan visits her roommate Macey in Boston, she thinks she's in for an exciting end to her summer break. After all, she's there to watch Macey's father accept the nomination for vice president of the United States. But when you go to the world's best school (for spies), "exciting" and "deadly" are never far apart. Cammie and Macey soon find themselves trapped in a kidnappers' plot, with only their espionage skills to save them.

As her junior year begins, Cammie can't shake the memory of what happened in Boston, and even the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women doesn't feel like the safe haven it once did. Shocking secrets and old flames seem to lurk around every one of the mansion's corners as Cammie and her friends struggle to answer the questions, Who is after Macey? And how can the Gallagher Girls keep her safe?

Soon Cammie is joining Bex and Liz as Macey's private security team on the campaign trail. The girls must use their spy training at every turn as the stakes are raised, and Cammie gets closer and closer to the shocking truth..
