Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde. Got a few fo the Thursday Next novels for Christmas. A quick, light read. Not snobbish material, but a lot of ridiculous, entertained groans from the reader.
I finished Final Harvest (my last book of 2008) and Lost in a Good Book (1st book of 2009). I'm now reading The Shack and enjoying it pretty well so far.
Still going through 1001 Books to Read Before You Die, though it's slow going because like the OCD reader I am I have to make note ...
I started off with Lost in a Good Book , though I really only read about 30 pages on New Year's. I'm now reading The Shack by William Young, which will fit in either my "Recommendations" or "New to me authors" category depending on which is filling up more quickly.
