Another novel with a spine-tingling twist and lots of misleading clues, here's a good mystery if you want one. This is another one of her novels where the heroine is a KEY news broadcast journalist. I always enjoy reading about them, all of them have family issues due to their work. Just when Cassie thought she could spend time with her daughter, to somehow fix their broken ties, she gets an assignment and so, mother-daughter-day gone. Mary J Clark's short chapters would make you feel like watching a movie where the events happen simultaneously and would leave you palpitating, wondering what happens next, and who the culprit is. She has succeeded in misleading the reader and there's a touch of Christie where most of the characters become suspects. The events that lead to the conclusion were all vital, this one never drags. ( )The clown had raped and murdered. Vencent found a ring with his detector at the beach and all of a sudden his life was in danger and those of ones he loved/new. His brother Marc (with encephilitis) was kidnapped. Cassie, a reporter that was transferred on her job for reporting a girl was raped moves closer to the truth. She discovered the truth and became the number one reporter again. no reviews | add a review
