This was an easy read. Was a very good fast paced book. All at once Catherine and Tom, Cally and lil Brans lives are all changed all due to Jimmy breaking out of prison and shooting a guard. ..not giving spoils but a very good book . ( )

Catherine Dornan takes her two sons to see the famous Rockefellar Christmas tree in New York. Hoping to cheer them and herself up. They all are worried about Tom her husband who is being treated for leukemia. While standing amoung the crowds Brain notices a man steal his mothers wallet. Unable to get his mothers attention he follows the man. When Brain follows the man to an apartment he ends of being kidnapped. Now Catherine is not only praying for her husband to get well but for the safe return of her son.

Very enjoyable story! ( )

Good little suspense tale but not, by far, her best book. ( )
