10. Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult
Moving away from Jodi Picoult for a book or two and going to pick up Island of Dr.Moreau 9. Time Bandit By Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand
Picking back up Keeping Faith almost done with it. Next moving on to Change of Heart for some reason I am stuck on Jodi Picoult novels. Thats ok after these two i think I will move back to Native Son or Island of Dr.Moreau. ... Son I have set that aside for now just couldn't get that into it. Will try picking it up again soon. Working currently on Keeping Faith and starting Time Bandit as soon as I get it in from amazon. ... rst
Animal Dreams by Barbara Kingsolver
Blood Memory by Greg Iles
The Blue Nowhere by Jeffery Deaver
Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult
Heartbreaker by Julie Garwood
What's the Matter with Kansas by Thomas Frank
I also picked up the following solely to send ... ... one that I enjoyed was Plain Truth....and the character Ian Fleming that is featured in her newest book got his start in Keeping Faith so you might want to read that one first in order to get a feel for him. Its also a good story. Speaking of recurring characters, the cop that was in Nineteen ... I'm going to try Keeping Faith by Jodi Picolt.
(I've been lurking for soooo long, but hi everyone) Today.. I am reading Keeping Faith Jodi Picoult
Like all of her books, it is a good read...not a brain strainer, but always a good read. I haven't read Change of Heart, Picture Perfect, Salem Falls, Harvesting the Heart, Keeping Faith, and Mercy, but all the others I've read. Here's my list in order of the book I liked most to the one I liked least:
1. My Sister's Keeper-- the first book I ever read, and I literally ... ... I ration my Jodi reading, because I don't want to run out of her books. This year I have read Nineteen Minutes and Keeping Faith. I have seen Jodi Picoult speak three times and look forward to her new book this spring which also means a book tour!! ... mentioned this author (forgive my if i missed it) - Jodi Picoult
I read My Sisters Keeper and swifting moved onto Keeping Faith and have almost finished Nineteen Minutes. ... the moment and am about three quarters of the way through Nineteen Minutes and have already read My Sisters Keeper and Keeping Faith.
Can anyone recommend any similar style books? I'm waiting to buy Mummy's Witness by Gayle Sanders but only once i have time to read the whole thing ... ... to J.M. Coetzee as well - only I'm reading Slow Man. I'm not far enough in yet to decide how I like it.
I finished Keeping Faith late last night - great book - I recommend it! I'm hanging out in New Hampshire with a little girl who has an interesting connection with God in Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult I finished reading Old Filth and started Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult today. I just finished Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult.
Something Faith has recently discovered is that if you squinch up your eyes really tight and rub them hard with the balls of your thumbs, you see things: little stars and greeny-blue circles that she imagines are her irises, as if there's ... I changed my mind - decided to read Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald instead of Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult. I'm about 50 pages to the end of The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar. I plan on reading Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult next, then Arthur and George by Julian Barnes.
hmmmm, problems with Touchstones this morning :( After I finish The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar I will be reading Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult ... so popular.
As for Nineteen Minutes, it's good, but not her best. If you haven't read My Sister's Keeper or Keeping Faith yet, I would start with those. Looks like I have a lot of fantasy recommendations to get me started.
My favorite Jodi Picoult is Keeping Faith. It's the first one of hers that I read, and the one that kept me reading her, even though nothing has ever quite lived up to it. My second would be My Sister's Keeper. Zcannon, ... ... with supernatural angles have you read?
11: I think My Sister's Keeper is my favorite Jodi Picoult book so far, though Keeping Faith runs a close second. JF(Just finished): Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson--another book on bullying, it was so good!

CR(Currently Reading): Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson--It just came in from the library and I really should be reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter and The Glass Castle, but I ... ... this book as soon as I saw it had come out. I enjoyed it, but not as much as some of her others (My Sister's Keeper and Keeping Faith are my favorites of hers, I think). The plot wasn't as compelling, and the twist at the end seemed implausible to me. But it did still draw me in. (Incidentall ... 7. Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult
6. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
5. Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
JANUARY:
4. The Five People You Meet in Heaven by M ... I am reading Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult and I am already 100 pages into it, and it is wonderful!! ... I finished the story. There were too many things left unexplained so the story left me completely dissatisfied.
With Keeping Faith, I decided it was time to get away from this author.
Picoult does have some strengths I like. She is unafraid to tackle controversial subjects and ... ... are entranced. Rating--5
How I'm doing...
4/50 or 8%
Books I started in January, but will not finish:
a. Keeping Faith - Jodi Picoult - The characters were annoying and some of the story seemed not to be credible. Rating--2 I simply couldn't finish Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult. I got through about 1/3 of it when I realized I wasn't even enjoying the story. The characters were so annoying. There also were a couple of instances in which the credibility of the scenes made me groan.
I must have picked Jodi Picoult ...
