I enjoyed reading this well-written book. It has a biography for each of the following “Fighting Confederatesâ€? Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, Thomas Jackson, Nathan Forrest, Joseph Johnston, and J.E.B. Stuart. I had intended only to read about J. Johnston, but since this biography was so well written I went on to read the entire book.
