Book description
A BLOCK FROM MY HOTEL THE GODS DESCENDED

We have three Gods, Three unknown and terrible Gods.
They live Up-Top: perigee 21,180 miles, apogee 22, 652 miles. Nothing on Earth is beyond their reach.
they can p[ull down buildings, walk uninhibited through walls of brick and steel. they're invisible when they wish to be, wrathful when their wish is thwarted. Right now they were hunting me, Gil Warren - the most wanted man on Earth.

A block from my hotel, the Gods descended, in swirling snow and surging wind. A man on the other side of the street began to climb eerily into the sky. His feet thrashed, his face revealed shock.

AS far as I could see, the man's only crime was to have dark hair and my approximate build. He twisted futilely in an invisible massive grip, his frighted cries muted by the wind.

Letting out a long breath, I turned left at the first corner I came to. The incident  had occurred too close to my hotel to be a coincidence; i couldn't go back there.
