READ IN DUTCH

I bought this book in the summer of 2004, when I went on hiliday with Junior without extra hands to carry loads of books and without the space for them.

The first part, 'Verlies' was okay, I liked the story. The second part too, but less. This being my second audiobook, I was not so experienced in how that works and probably part of that played a role in my little dislike.
Or maybe it was the narrator's voice that annoyed me. When listening for a short while, it is okay, but for longer stretches of time it isn't. I got sleepy, distracted, restless, impatient. Not good.
And because of that, very little of the secon book's content has stayed with me, as if I would have read it. ( )
