I tried to read this one but from the onset with the forward by Dr. Poussaint to Mr. Cosby's account of his first grey pubic hair, I just didn't find the indignities and not quite funny observations of life at age 50 to be very enticing to me.

After attempting the forward I thought maybe the actual book might be a little better. When the first little bit didn't grab my attention I generally skimmed a few chapters, looking for something that would make me laugh. I chuckled a couple times but it certainly wasn't at all what I thought I'd find. I actually felt a bit depressed after reading some of the passages and finally gave it up. Probably not the best Cosby to start off with. ( )
