OK. Silly may read something else by her. ( )

We'll always have parrots. And monkeys. And a tiger. Meg goes along to a con for fans of the television show based on a set of 1970s graphic novels in which her boyfriend is a prominent character. It isn't hard to figure out who the deserving murder victim will be, but the sleuthing is almost as good as the humor! Don't miss this fun read!
Bernadette Dunne continues to be great narrator. ( )

This one should have been subtitled Murder at the Con.. and if you have never been to a con, you are MISSING OUT! Again, a fun read, and I love Meg's Dad, he's so smart and yet still goofy about certain things.. ( )

Meg and Michael are attending fan convention for Michael's television series. Meg is selling weapons and Michael is speaking and signing autographs. For some reason the Con group has let monkeys and parrots loose in the convention center. The animals add to the chaos! When the "star" of the show is found dead, by Meg, it gets Meg involved in trying to solve the mystery. Meg's parents and nephew Eric are also attending so they get to help too.

This series is so often rolling on the floor funny, I do so enjoy spending time with these characters! ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0312996756, Mass Market Paperback)

Meg Langslow knew the fan convention for her actor-boyfriend's hit television series was going to be the ultimate in weird. But she came along because she figured Michael could use an occasional dose of sanity-and because it was an inspired place to sell her hand-crafted weapons. And so far, she was dealing pretty well with the costumed fans camped outside, the batch of escaped parrots and monkeys frolicking throughout the hotel...and the minefield of egos lurking behind the show's success.

But soon after Meg goes head-to-head with egomaniacal series star Tamerlaine Wynncliffe-Jones, the "Queen B" turns up brutally murdered. Now, with Michael in the running as prime suspect, Meg will go up against an all-star cast of not-even-innocent parties, hidden identities, and buried motives. And she'll cross swords with a deviously obsessed murderer determined to write her out of this picture for good.
