Holme does a wonderful job of drawing the reader in with small stories and larger movement, weaving a hypnotic view of the part of London, England known as Chelsea. The illustrations - portraits, paintings, a ticket to Ranelagh and an intriguing pull-out map - only add to an already wonderful book. I highly recommend it for anglophiles... and everyone else.
