Steele, a military sniper whose attitude problem landed him in prison, seems a good candidate. But as they're dragged into a secret world of freelance killers, Sydney begins to discover the man of honor and passion beneath Steele's arrogant façade. It's a man even Steele didn't know he could be -- and a man whose mission will risk the life of the only woman he's ever loved... Sydney Westbrook has to find an assassin for a counter-terrorism mission. J D Steele is a military sniper with an attitude problem, who landed in prison. While they start investigating they discover each other as well. This is interesting but where the sex works with the Dark Hunter series here it seemed to feel a little forced. Some of it was quite interesting but some of it made me wonder about why things happened that way. A fun read if you park your brain, question anything and it falls apart. The story is another one of Kenyon’s great paranormal work, though instead of focusing on the Dark-Hunters this one is, obviously by the title, about a Dream-Hunter. I liked it, but I really like some of the Dark-Hunter characters and I didn’t get to hear a lot about them in this one, so I felt like I missed out a little bit. Still, she’s a lot of fun to read and I’ll wait impatiently for the next one to become available. no reviews | add a review

I noticed that she loves using the phrases "turnabout is fair play" or something like that and as with her other books "...blew a raspberry". Those would be her other trademarks.
So, this story is about Steele being hired to do a sniper job where he met Sydney, the Angelina Jolie lookalike, who happens to be his spotter. They had a rocky start but they got along eventually. There's not much sex, all foreplay which was OK, I liked the state-of-the-art gadgets and the way the action was written. The suspense was OK, it didn't make me palpitate or anxious. It's a decent read with a good storyline and plot, and a lot of unexpected turns. (
