A likeable story but I still found that something was missing...
Probably the fact that I didn't like the main character that much has something to do with it! It's just that she was presented as an extremely powerful vampire with a super IQ but, during the story, she didn't exactly play the part! (

Book 1 of the series
The first time I saw this was at a bookstore. I wasn't really impressed with the first few pages; but then I saw it at the library. Free read! I was surprised but how much I liked the story. (

I liked the writing and the storyline. The descriptions were just deep enough to make the story believable, but not so deep as to annoy me. However, I really hated the main character. I found her to be weak and fearful and she whined an awful lot, especially for a vampire. In the end, the book was just ok. (
