So, so bad. One of those modern-fantasy romances that are so popular these days (Charlaine Harris, Carrie Vaughn, Kim Harrison…), but with purpler prose and an even less engaging plot. ( )

Ashling Grey, wow , great sex, great side kicks, fun story line, Fab sexy guy, and a mystery to solve. I loved this one even more than the first, makes me want a Newfie.( maybe with out the drool ) I might like a dragon LOL. ( )

Katie MacAlister is one of my favorite authors, mostly because her writing is so unique; she manages to bring witty humor, life and a sort of relate-able weirdness to her characters which makes you want to cheer for them. I actually found out recently that my own style of writing matches how and what I write about, which borders on the edges of plagiarism, but I don't completely think of it like that. The most sincere form of flattery is to have your style of writing copied by someone else, or bits and pieces of your personality used by another writer, because it means that people love your work. I go back to this novel and other novels in the series over and over again for a late-night read. ( )

This second in a series wasn't as funny as the first, [b:YOU SLAY ME|50750|You Slay Me (Aisling Grey, Guardian, Book 1)|Katie MacAlister|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1170371299s/50750.jpg|3142], but it was an interesting progression of the storyline.

Aisling Grey is back-and in more trouble than ever. She thought being a courier would be easy. It's not. She thought being a Guardian would come naturally. It doesn't. She thought she could get out of being a wyvern's mate. She can't. And she never thought she'd be irresistible to men. But she is.
