Review: This book is about Noah's ark and all the different animals that were on the boat. In this book Noah goes through all the different animals and says how each one is doing badly in some way. It goes through a different animal for each letter in the alphabet. After 26 different animals have complained about being on the boat Noah reminds them that they are all on the same boat. The animals start to behave after this and they are able to all sail in peace.

Genre: Modern Fantasy
Genre Critique: This book is a modern fantasy because the animals in the book have human like characteristics. The animals can talk to each other and to Noah. The animals can also play games on the ark together like tennis and they can eat pizza. The animals also have thoughts and feelings like humans do. In real life animals cannot do any of those things. Things aren?t going very well on Noah?s ark. The animals thought they were in for a great adventure, but as days turn into weeks and the rain just doesn?t stop, Noah fi nds himself with a boatload of cranky travelers?from antsy ants and bored bees to yelling yaks and zoned-out zebras. They?re going to have to learn to cooperate in order to save this voyage, and Noah has just the right words to bring everyone together.
