I learned that small tasks completed, can lead to big feelings of accomplishment, and thereby increase momentum and productivity. This book has more impact than you might think. ( )

This book has changed my life. By making routines fun, my house is decluttered, my mind is decluttered, and my family is happier. ( )

I've been following the flylady system for a few years now on and off but had never bothered to read her book. You don't really need to read it if you already follow the system. It's more for those who don't have Internet access. If you aren't familiar with FlyLady, it's a system to help you get your house and life in order. It's about Cleaning and Organization and De cluttering but it's also more than that. Flylady will get you out of CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome.) Flylady has helped thousands of people restore order to their lives by following routines and taking things in small babysteps. She explains how our perfectionism works against us and how we think if we don't spend all day cleaning and remove lots of grime than we aren't really cleaning. She shows us how to do little things each day to get and then keep our homes and lives clean and functional.I've read lots of organizational books (before I started this review blog, someday I'll get to reviewing them here) but this is by far the best so far. It's the only system that has worked for me.If you have Internet access, go to flylady.net and sign up for her emails. Peruse the site and try what she says, even if it sounds nuts to you at first. However if you don't have Internet at home (maybe you are reading this at work or the library) then buy this book. Or if you have a friend or family member who doesn't have Internet access, buy this book for them. Or at least recommend it. ( )

Fly Lady rules! Along the lines of 'After the Laundry, The Laundry' Cilley shows you how to unfreeze your paralysis from housekeeping to focus on what is important.

Funnily enough this book came to me during my 'Buddhist' phase and embodies the principal that true enlightenment is coming to terms with your human fallibility. ( )
